After spending five years as a childhood education teacher, I jumped on a bus with a one-way ticket and moved to New York City from the small town of Phoenix, NY.

Once in Manhattan, I worked in the financial services industry for five years. In addition, on nights and weekends, I worked high-end events in the marketing industry. The long hectic hours did not stifle me as I spent most of my upbringing working for my family’s business, Hoxie Farms. Although I moved on from the farm, I brought the motivation, dedication, and tenacity to the big city.

Through my experiences in both small town and big city living, there is one thing I know we all have in common. No matter our circumstances, life can be complicated, stressful, messy, and full of societal pressures. My varied life and career allow me to connect to many different individuals. Whether you are just beginning your career path or have hit a barrier decades into the journey, either on a professional or personal level, I am here to help.

As a full-time writer, I love to educate on personal development, wellness, and financial well-being. I am passionate about how we can all live a more simplistic, minimalist approach to life, bringing us back to holistic happiness. I have been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, and Thought Catalog. I am currently working on my first non-fiction book. It encompasses my personal experiences and offers strategies to help others live their life to the fullest.
