At 34 weeks pregnant, we drove home to Upstate New York to celebrate our baby boy. My Aunt was kind enough to host at her home.
I am genuinely so grateful to my friends and family for coming together and making the day memorable.
From the décor to the teddy bear hot air balloon basket and fabulously decorated cookies– it was a day we will never forget.
Below are the female business owners I collaborated with, so if you are local to the Upstate New York area and need someone for an upcoming special event, check out their Instagram accounts.

What I wore:
Before the shower, just for fun, I asked everyone on my Facebook to vote for which dress to wear between three blue options. It was a pretty close vote between two dresses, so I decided to wear two different ones on the day of the shower—because why not? 😊
The first dress was for the sit-down lunch, and the other was for desserts and games we later played downstairs. These were added to my LTK shop if you or someone you know is looking for ideas for an upcoming shower and aren’t sure what to wear. The first one can be found on Amazon and comes in various colors.

Dee Dee is the owner of Deeds’ Delights. She made a variety of hot air balloon, bear, and baby-themed cookies which were a huge hit at the party.

Heather McArthur is the owner of Syracuse.LOVE Heather has a wide variety of options and offers everything from table centerpieces to lighting to staff.
They even offer a S’mores station. You can view the website here to check out her entire catalog.
The S’mores station was a huge hit.
Balloon arch & hot air balloon: @bsdaydreamballoonco
Brittany Bidwell owns B’s Daydream Balloon Co and offers luxury balloon garlands and bouquets. She did a tremendous job at creating a balloon arch that was hung in the basement.
The teddy bear hot air balloon basket was placed upstairs, where everyone sat to have brunch and mimosas.
Games & Activities:
One of the activities we did was called Baby Wishes, which I am hoping to turn into a scrapbook.
What Made The Party Unique:
Instead of everyone bringing a card, I asked guests to bring a book. I am thankful I did this, as everyone signed their name in their book and it will make for a great keepsake. I am excited to start building the baby’s library.
