With a very hectic lifestyle here in NYC, I often find myself in between coffee shops, work, travel, and constantly feel like I am on the go.
This weekend we are headed to New Jersey for my niece’s cheerleading competition and will be in Pennsylvania for a wedding the weekend after that. The last thing I want to happen is for my healthy habits to go out the window when I am on the go. Having sustainable, healthy snacks with me in my bag or the car helps to keep me from indulging in last-minute fast food options or overpriced snacks at an airport or gas station.
Also, to be honest, I am a grazer when it comes to food. I enjoy small snacks and meals throughout the entire day. This leaves me never feeling super hungry or never overly full. For most of my adult life, this suits me really well, plus it can help me avoid being hangry 😊 ~and nobody wants to see this happen.
Below are some of my favorite snack options I keep on tap.
I prefer to buy the snacks in bulk; this way, I can get a better bang for my buck. Then, I put them in little baggies myself.
